Enables educators to enhance their teaching, research, and global perspectives by immersing themselves in diverse educational environments overseas.
EXCHANGE PROGRAM (1996-current)
Offers students the opportunity to study abroad, immersing themselves in a different culture and educational environment while broadening their horizons.
APPLICATIONS: Prospective applicants submit a portfolio, one-page motivation letter, most recent transcript;
UTA STUDENTS: Apply by September 15 each year to go abroad in the following Spring semester. Program for graduate students only.
LFU STUDENTS: Apply by January 15 each year to go abroad in the following Fall semester. Program for undergraduate & graduate students.
SUMMER PROGRAM (2018-current)
Allows students to explore new cultures, gain academic insights, and expand their global perspectives during a short-term overseas educational experience.
(For UTA students only, in selected years)
UTA STUDENTS: Apply by February 15 each year to go abroad in the following Summer I semester. Program for undergraduate & graduate students.
SCHOLAR PROGRAM (2018-current)
Offers scholars (during master’s thesis, dissertation, or post-doc) the opportunity to pursue in-depth academic research and advanced studies in a foreign country, focusing on a specific research topic.
INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM (2024-current)
Provides students with a comprehensive educational experience by enrolling in courses cross-listed at both universities to enhance academic exchange through a global campus framework.

The Alpinestudio International Program is an inter-disciplinary and cross-university program between the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and the University of Innsbruck (LFU) engaging the fields of contemporary architecture and urban studies focusing on climate-resilient cities in the Central Alpine Region. This global campus framework offers cross-listed courses open for enrollment to students from both sides of the Atlantic to study together and collaborate on innovative projects.
